Teenage Pregnacy
I met this girl in the estate who
seemed to be a second year student in the university. After exchanging contact we
talked for a while for me to discover that she was in form three in a school
within the city. She was beautiful and willing to explore the world with me. Her
innocence attracted me the most but the question I kept asking what is the role
do I have as an adult in protecting the future of this young girl?
You see many girls who have fallen
victims of early pregnancy always met men whom they genuinely loved and in them
they saw a bright future. These men carried their vision and mission of their
life purpose but along the way they discovered that they had been duped and now
majority have resulted into single parenthood or gone to wage war against the
male population and may be this is the reason as to why we have raising cases of
single parents in our modern today society.
Observing closely you will realize
that most of the so called toxic feminists actually became parents at a very
tender age. It may be true that most may have not been responsible in their
interactions with the opposite gender but also most of them just fell into the
wrong hands thus breeding the hatred they are spreading to their younger
innocent girls! And this is the reason why for some weeks now the social media
has been condemning the modern parent for neglecting her role in bringing up a
child in the way it should go. Conversations around our estate have been about
reckless parents who have left their children to roam around thus attempting
men into seducing them for intimate relationship but is the observation true or just men who are seeking self justification for the wrongs they are doing!
A few observations have got me
thinking about a few questions:
·
When you are attacking for attention of this
small girl or boy do you do it in the presence of the parent?
·
Is it difficult for you to identify a minor when
moving around?
·
What is your role in shaping up the future of our
children?
The current generation needs to write the wrongs the
previous generation made. We don’t have to raise a population that hates men
and marriage. Every person has a role to guide the current generation
especially during this period of: stay home, maintain social distance, keep
safe and we shall win Covid_19 (for the so called informed ones) or corona (kwa
watu wa mtaa). When you encounter a teenager just don’t bang them! Then walk
out smiling justifying your evil deed that: alikuja na venye alikuwa amevaa
maze ningedu? use that opportunity to instill in them life long lessons and for sure one day they will look back and be grateful for being a good father for them.
Before I close I could like to appreciate the former leader of majority in the 11th Parliament Mr. Adan Duale for serving in the position of majority leadership for 7 years but I saw the Deputy President of the Republic of Kenya saying that he served for 8 years but hakuna shida. whatever is true. whatever is noble. Don't hesitate to prosecute it.
Encouraging piece Mr

Delete👍but dont be quick to make conclusions about the source of the so called toxic feminists. These little girls are abused by men. Let men learn to zip up for the good of everyone else.
ReplyDeleteYes, you have said it.

DeleteA very good piece on responsible sexuality and/ citizenship. Insightful and well-meaning. Keep spreading the good word.
ReplyDeleteAn educative piece brother. Let's be mindful of the teenagers in both genders. We ought to hit the nail on the head for them to understand the repercussions of engaging in premarital sex with their peers/adults.
